As usual, the AR gang has submitted to the CA legislature, more bad laws that will do nothing to help shelters, but instead, will stop the sales of dogs, create more killing for shelters, and more red tape for stuff that is not a problem, but has been amped up as a problem on purpose.
Several of the main AR laws are going to be considered again next week in CA. Advocates are working hard to make sure they do not pass!

I hope the senate relizes how much money they are sending out of CA. With this bill they will send the big handler kennels, trainning kennels, field dog trainning to another state. Ca. will loose millions in dog shows. Long Beach lost a show that brought in $6 million in one week. Do these senators even care if Ca. has any income at all? They need to all lose at the next election.

Actually, we don’t think they do care. They care about themselves though. Not necessarily the constituents.

You forget how much monies are being spent every year on the euthanization of PURE BREED animals!
I do PURE BREED Rescue, and the facts are skewed because the folks at the animal controls do not know the difference from a mix to a pure breed, therefore many dogs and cats are mismarked.
I WANT QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY. Why did Long Beach lose that show? Why don’t you give the real reason.
I want to save pets, I want quality pets, not some back yard, pet store, in bred, trouble ridden pet.

You (MK Patterson) may do purebred “rescue.” You may not care for anything but what you like, you might denigrate pet quality, pet store, anything using stock that is not outcrossed, or the alleged “trouble” ridden pet, whatever that means. Does that mean you know quality and understand legal agendas? NOPE. Sorry, you don’t have a clue. People like you are the problem, not the answer. The answer does not involve stifling interstate commerce because of what you don’t understand.
