When we see crimes committed to get attention for what ARs call “factory” anything (farm, pet, you name it) it just makes us more mad, not less; it will make us work harder, not less. H$U$ will put out a press release that they do not condone such acts, but actually the H$U$+PETA– loves those things. However for such groups to “say” that — – might CUT INTO THEIR DONATION “FUNDING.”
Let’s face facts. There is no other word for this than terrorism, no matter whose house, ranch, kennel, or business they attack. [See list of Terrorist acts at top of page of blog under Top 20+ Terrorist AR List]
We can’t even give away or sell an animal, but the extremists can burn down whatever they want, use sting operations, make misrepresentations galore, set up SWAT teams to kill dogs, kill every animal in a shelter because H$U$ said to do it, accuse every rescue of “hoarding” because they caught one that actually was hoarding, shut down all pet stores and sales of animals, force pet breeders out of business — with the only reason being?
Because AR and extremists want their own belief system to rule the country. They want THEIR laws, not BY the people, BUT by THEM, and only THEM. Laws devised upon THEIR belief system. No animal food products, no animal products. NO selling of animals.
Normally we don’t even post their crap. BUT since the AETA is being challenged by ARs via lawsuit, including former SHAC related people, we decided to show you how the ARs brag:
“For Immediate Release
January 9, 2012 Received anonymously:
at about 3:40 am on sunday, january 8th, 14 cattle trucks caught fire at the harris feeding company in Coalinga, CA.
containers of accelerant were placed beneath a row of 14 trucks with 4 digital timers used to light 4 of the containers and kerosene-soaked rope carrying the fire to the other 10 (a tactic adapted from Home Alone 2 ). we weren’t sure how well this was going to work, so we waited until there was news reports before writing this.
we were extremely pleased to see that all 14 trucks “were a total loss” with some being “completely melted to the ground.”
we’re not going to use this space to expound upon the horrors and injustices of factory farming. there is more than enough armchair-activists and those of passive politics who are more than willing to do that (anything to keep from getting their hands dirty). we, the unsilent minority (the 1%, if you will), choose a more direct form of action.
we’re not delusional enough to believe that this action will shut down the harris feeding company, let alone have any effect on factory farming as a whole. but we maintain that this type of action still has worth, if not solely for the participant’s peace of mind, then to show that despite guards, a constant worker presence, and razorwire fence, the enemy is still vulnerable.
finally, to all those who fantasize and romanticize about direct action yet remain on the fence: there is a lot of stuff that needs to be destroyed and we can’t count on spontaneous combustion and careless welders to do all the work.” [PD note: We purposely left off the name/picture of the alleged group that did it since we don’t want our stuff on the same page as their name]
until next time…democraticunderground.com [site that published the info]
Somewhat surprising…. as even the veg head bloggers mentioned online, that this outrageous act will give ag and farm more to work with, especially when it comes to surveillance and why farms NEED to have better systems in place. If the entire lot had cameras [where trucks are kept] and sensor lights, sure — they could be shot down, but chances are ARs would go for an easier target, despite how tricky AR behavior can be. If an AR knew you had barking dogs, they likely wouldn’t poison your dog, they might just let it escape. (PETA might kill your dogs though, on second thought……)
We’re just saying.
